The Ybor Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to advancing the district’s economic vitality and
improving the quality of life, which makes Ybor an attractive place to live, work and do business.
These efforts are made possible, in part, by the support of the local business community. Ybor’s
Chamber offers its members various promotional opportunities and a friendly environment for doing
business, including:

Publicity: Bi-monthly electronic newsletter, La Setima, is a great way for members to get the word
out about their events and activities through articles and the calendar of events. Also, the monthly
Tampa Tribune advertising co-op, published the fourth week of the month, highlights “what’s
happening” in Ybor City, as well as offering inexpensive advertising opportunities for chamber
members.

Networking: Monthly chamber luncheons (with informative speakers), PM networking events, and a
twice a year Business Expo.

Chamber Annual Community Events: Ybor City Chamber of Commerce Gala, Ybor OktoberFest Pub
Crawl, Guavaween, Fiesta Day, Ybor Aficionados Days, and the annual Ybor Golf Tournament.

Business Listing on Chamber Website: An online listing that provides business name, address,
phone, and e-mail and website hyperlinks, along with business category listing.

Listing in the Chamber Directory and the Ybor City Walking Map & Guide. The Chamber
Business & Community Directory provides our members with information on all Ybor City
Chamber members. 100,000 copies of the locally focused Map & Guide are distributed annually at our
official Visitor’s Information Center, local hotels and VISITFLORIDA Welcome Centers.

Centro Ybor Visitor Information Center Promotional Opportunities: Open 7 days a week, the
visitor information center (VIC) allows members to display brochures, maps, and articles that promote
their business to visitors and local shoppers. In addition, the VIC distributes thousands of Ybor City
Walking Map & Guides annually.

Direct Mail List: Upon request, one set of printed mailing labels of the entire chamber membership
is available annually, free-of-charge.

Elementary School Enrollment Priority: The Chamber’s partnership with the award-winning
Phillip Shore Arts Magnet School gives chamber business members enrollment priority.
