Fiesta Day is a free, family-oriented “street festival.”  Celebrated for 66 years, it features ethnic food and entertainment along famed Seventh Avenue.  Fiesta Day started out as a “verbena” or day of rest for the immigrant, cigar workers who settled Ybor City from Spain, Cuba and Italy.

La Setima (or 7th Avenue) is closed to traffic for the day, and exhibits, café areas and entertainment is set-up from 15th to 20th Street.  Sample “gourmet street food” from Ybor restaurants along with exhibits by cultural destinations and quality arts & crafts vendors.  Enjoy interactive displays by LEGOLAND Florida and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Dance in the street at the Maxima Stage to the rhythms of Tampa's own dynamic dance band Sol Caribe, and Latin Pop by Orlando's La Calle.  Be entertained by Flamenco guitarist Nathan Herrera and his dancers.
