Museum Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., daily. Closed on major holidays.
Fee: $4.00 per person.
The Ybor City Museum State Park should be the first stop for anyone interested in Florida History.
Exhibits are housed in an historic bakery featuring displays on the founders of Ybor City, the cigar industry, information on all the nationalities involved, a cigar work station, and information about the lifestyles of residents.
The museum complex includes a mediterranean style garden available to the public and can be rented for special occasions, historic factory homes, and a restored cigar worker's house. Guided tours of "La Casita" are available upon request.
The Ferlita Bakery building, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was acquired in 1976 and opened as a museum in September 1980.
